I spent the winter of 2014 in Alaska working as a dog handler and during that time I had no physical touch from a human besides an occasional handshake. Then that spring I had a massage that changed me and I knew what I wanted to pursue and how I wanted to help others…

I graduated from the massage program at St. Paul College in 2016 and began working as a traveling MT, working mostly with the overworked restaurant industry folk.

In 2018 I needed an adventure and went to Thailand and took a 150 hour Thai Massage class which gave me a whole new perspective on bodywork. Learning Thai massage was an absolute dream and was a refreshing way to connect with clients through stretching and deep compression, not to mention that it was amazing to be able to use my whole body as the practitioner.

I see massage as a beautiful way to help clients to reconnect with their inner peace and to gain an appreciation for their bodies. We were only given the one!

I have been living in Duluth for the past eight years enjoying the nearness to Lake Superior and for the past five years I have dove headfirst into sailing and spend most of my summers racing sailboats and squeezing the most out of the warm weather. I’m very happy to be a part of the Halcyon House cooperative and am passionate about the cooperative model and am excited to add my skills to this wonderful slice of peace in Duluth.

Kimberlee Grogan is an intuitive sound bowl healer based in the Duluth, Minnesota area. Surrounded by the beauty of Lake Superior and the Northwoods, she feels a deep connection to nature and the quiet wisdom that can be found in stillness.

A mother of three sons and a proud new grandmother, Kimberlee brings a nurturing and grounded presence to the spaces she holds. Her path to sound healing emerged through her own personal journey of health, healing, and the search for deeper balance. Along the way, she discovered the profound way vibration and sound can help the body soften, the mind quiet, and the spirit return to its natural rhythm.

Kimberlee approaches sound healing intuitively. Rather than following a fixed structure, she listens and feels into the moment, allowing each session to unfold naturally. The bowls are played in response to the energy of the room, creating a soundscape that is unique to those present.

For Kimberlee, sound is more than music—it is a bridge. A way of reconnecting with ourselves and the deeper currents of life moving through us.

Each session is an invitation to slow down, breathe, and simply receive.

Sound as a bridge. Vibration as medicine. Presence as healing.

Jennifer graduated from Boulder College of Massage Therapy in 2005 and has continued to add knowledge to her repertoire over the years. She has a unique approach to massage therapy, working in all three dimensions to find the best way to get your body to work with itself. Her sensitivity to feel what is happening within the body’s fascia through massage gives her the ability to follow myofascial tension patterns to gently enable realignment of the skeleton. “We all have unique bodies with stories and histories, my goal is not to fix you but to help you be comfortable in your home.”
